Plastic garbage is one of the biggest environmental problems worldwide. In Germany alone, 6.1 billion plastic bags are consumed each year. A new EU directive stipulates that by 2025 the consumption of plastic bags must be reduced to 40 per person. We didn't want to wait - we react immediately. REWE starts the initiative to discontinue the plastic bag and bans everyone from the assortment
